Installing Fonts

This tutorial explains how to install fonts you have downloaded from the internet.

Windows XP or Lower

1. Download one of my fonts here, or from free font sites such as 1001 Fonts and Dafont.

2. Save the font you want onto your desktop.

3. Open your "My Computer" Folder, go to Local Disk (C:); then open the "Windows" folder, find the folder called "Fonts", and open it.

4. Now drag the downloaded font from your desktop into the Fonts folder, and it will automatically install the font for you. Once you have done this the font will automatically appear in every program you use that uses fonts, like Microsoft Word, Photoshop, and PSP.

Nb. If the font you downloaded was in a zip file, open the zip folder, drag the font from the folder onto your desktop, and then do steps 3 and 4.

Windows Vista

1. Complete above steps 1 and 2

2. Simple right-click the font file, and select "Install"
