Installing Brushes

This tutorial will explain how to install brushes into Adobe Photoshop.

• Download the brush set you want, and save it onto your desktop.

• If the brush file is in a zip folder, open the folder to access the .abr file.

• Now open your “My Computer” folder, then your “C:” drive, then “Program Files“, and then double click on the “Adobe” Folder.

• Open the folder for your Adobe Photoshop Program that you want to install the brushes into (eg. Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop CS2). Now open the “Presets” folder, then the “Brushes” folder.

• Now just drag the .abr file from your desktop, into the “Brushes” folder, and it’s installed! The brushes will appear on your brush list the next time you open Photoshop.
