Another Update: I’ve put it back up, this time if you don’t wish to fill in the survey, you don’t have to, just click the link, then close the page after 1-2 seconds and the code will be available for you to copy. I appreciate the honest feedback, please let me know if this is better.

Update: Ok, so I’ve just had the poll up for a few hours, but I already have a rough idea of what you guys want. You want me to be poor. Most of the “other” responses in the poll said “no ads”, but unfortunately that’s not an option for me. Although there are more votes for the new ads than the sqaure ad, I realise that the people who voted for the new layout ads don’t even use the myspace layouts, and would just prefer browsing with no square ad. From the comments on this blog and the numerous complaints I’ve received through email, I’ll be taking down the compulsary layout ads… and will try to put them up “volunteerily”, and ask you to complete an offer if you appreciate the layout (and would like me to have nice new shoes ). If that doesn’t go well I will look into something else… *sigh*… you people are so hard to please

The huge square ad has gone!

Doesn’t everything just look so much better… I really hated that ad, it’s all I could see every time I loaded the site… I’ve now got a new ad inventory, you will see it when you go to get a new layout, to get the code you just have to visit an ad… and you’ll only have to do that once. I’m hoping it’ll go well, I’d love your feedback on it and which ad format you would prefer, the square block at the top, or this new one… I’ll be testing this out for a week or two.

Edit: Put up a poll- I will decide the ads on the results of this, since you’re the ones who use the site.

Back to the layout, I really love this one! I wasn’t sick of the old one yet, but I was having a lot of complaints from visitors telling me it looked messed up in their browser/resolution, I tried fixing it but I suck at coding so I ended up making a whole new layout and using the code of one of my old layouts ;)

I have exams the next few weeks… I will try to make a few small updates here and there, but please excuse me if I don’t update for awhile!

New Photoshop Brushes

Backdrop Brushes, these are made to be used in the back of a design… like the spiky burst behind my current layout’s website logo… I didn’t make that one, but I’ve always liked it and wanted different sizes and patterns with the same concept, so I made some of my own. 31 large-ish brushes in this pack, including some softer flowery, circular, and dotted designs.

SunBursts, Those ever-popular line bursts… made by popular request, 23 different sizes and variations. They include solid bursts as well as ones that fade out in the ends..

Handwritten Font

Another handwritten font… if you’ve downloaded any of the old fonts, please download them again and replace them, I’ve fixed them up a bit, the aprostrophe’s weren’t showing up.

Glitter Fills

I’ve made some glitter fills that are to be used on the “screen” setting, they will work just like a transparent fill but with smoother and clearer sparkles

Favicons

Finally, I’ve added 100+ adorable Favicons, all made by the amazing Malissa, get them here

I also added the favicon images to the pixel icon section.
